For the November Symposium, we’ll discuss System Shock. (The original, not System Shock 2.)  I’m curious to talk about it in relation to other Looking Glass games (Ultima Underworld, Thief); to FPSes in general (both at the time, e.g. Marathon, and now); and to the BioShock series in particular.  But who knows where the conversation will actually go!
