It’s the first week of the month, which means that it’s time for another VGHVI Symposium! Last month’s generated such a complex discussion about games, play, and learning that I’m of a mind to see if we can use its energy to go backward and come up with a working defintion for “play.” So brush up on your Huizinga and come along.

Still the question: Is learning always learning to play? We don’t want to beg it by assuming we all mean the same thing by “play”!
