To make sure we have sufficient comparisons in the “Free to Play” MMORPG range, and of course to make sure we have a shared idea of what “high fantasy” is supposed to be and to, er, show, we’ll take a gambol through Age of Conan this Thursday at 9:30 Eastern.

I’ll be downloading the game some time this week and ensuring that I can actually find my way into the world, but probably going no farther unless someone else has a specific recommendation for what I might do for 30 minutes previous to our session to make sure Thursday night will be at least mildy rewarding.

We’ll have discussion on Ventrilo, which is a free program that you can download and install in something like two minutes.
