This week, we’ll play the XBLA version of the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering. I would insert some piece of jokey snark here, except that I’ve never had the pleasure of playing it so I’m not quite sure what to say, and I suspect that I will rather enjoy it when I do play it!
We’ll meet this Thursday at 9:30 EDT / 6:30 PDT; send a friends request to “a VGHVI” if you haven’t done so already.

I won’t be able to make it this week, alas…
Now I’m really wishing I could be there for this – it probably would be good research for me at work, and reading about what Karen and Kevin have planned for their Latin courses (Kevin’s post is at http://kevinbal.blogspot.com/2010/08/radio-silence-and-cards.html ) makes me wish that I could play a collectible card game with them! Ah well…
I’m actually out too, it turns out. Apologies. Kevin and Jonathan, you guys may have the planes to yourselves.
I’d planned to be there, but I have to drop out at the last minute. I wasn’t able to get my xbox connected via a wifi bridge, so I’m stuck without XBL access. Hopefully I’ll be ready by next week!
